About Me
Who I am
I’m Waseem Khalil, a rising Senior and first generation college student studying Human Centered Design and Engineering on the Human Computer Interaciton Track at the University of Washington. I am graduating in June of 2025.
Why I chose Design!
Growing up, I've always been captivated by technology, diving into apps and video games with enthusiasm. Yet, I constantly wondered how they could be improved—more intuitive, more immersive. With a strong urge to help others, I saw UX design as the ideal path to merge my tech fascination with my desire to make a difference. It's not just about tweaking interfaces; it's about creating experiences that enhance people's lives. In UX design, I've discovered a fulfilling outlet for my creativity and service-oriented mindset.
My Passions
When I’m not working, you can find me lifting weights, being a DJ playing all the songs you loved to sing to as a kid, spending quality time with family and friends, and watching sunsets in Seattle. I’m a very approachable and social person and love meeting new people, because I believe in the philosophy of everyone we meet has an impact in our life.
